Internet is the network of networks. We can do almost anything by connecting to the internet.Browsing for advertisement, looking for jobs, sending messages, sharing files, online banking can be done at our fingertips. It's easy,it's effective,it's convenient, but does it SAFE?That's why we said 'Convenience comes with a cost'.

Before talking about how to secure ourself, let check out on the list of most famous digital attack.

1.Malware : The combination of computer viruses,trojan horses,worms,spyware,adware,etc.

2.Phishing : A criminal act that acquire sensitive information such as passwords and credit card no.

3.Hacking : Breaks into computers and computer networks illegally

4.DDOS attack : Attempt to make an computer resource unavailable to its users

'Do you think you are safe in the cyberworld? ' A asked.

'Ya.Everytine I access and login to a webpage,I key in password,Even my PC also password protected.Besides that,I have antivirus,firewall plus,spyware and malware removal.'B replied.

That is usually how we define SAFE.Installing all those softwares and naively thinking we are secured from all those digital attacks. To protect ourselves,we need to cover from the device to the cloud. Here is the checklist that might be useful:

1.Always update your OS,softwares and internet browser because regular updates may include repairs for security vulnerabilities.

2.Change your password periodically and don't use a dictionary word or common word.

3.Use a secure connection and sign inand check for any strange activity on your accounts.

4.Watch out for messages that ask for username and passwords, never share them on other websites

5.Clear passwords, browsing history and cookies on a regular basis.

5.Never let unknown data travelers plug in to your computer or let someone use your computer without your knowledge.

Security problem is an unsolvable problem because it is people problem. We usually complaint internet allows people to impersonate alternate identities freely but we overlook a fundemental point: Online,we all have to assume multiple personae. So,what we can do,prevention better than cure.
